2000, in Queenstown, New Zealand.
We're the two in the front seat, next to the driver (Karen is the
better-looking one).
These Jet Boats are amazing! It was doing nearly 50-mph when this
photo was taken.
A pair of engines (500-hp) suck water up through the bottom and shoot it out the
rear.
The engines are propane-powered to minimize the environmental impact.

We celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary on that trip.
